Hat tricks

Rosemary DeTrolio Reiki Master teacher

Do you have a closet full of hats for all the roles and jobs you do?

I have so many hats, I could open a hat shop if I wasn't so busy wearing them.

Have you ever seen the fast change artists? That's me changing hats at breakneck speed to fit in the tasks.

These are my business hats:

Reiki Master teacher, guide, author, editor, presenter, angel communicator and teacher, business bookkeeper, marketing, sales, and shopping.

Then, there are the hats I wear at home. These include, but are not limited to, chef, shopper, food engineer, event planner, dog walker, vacation planner, gardener, and accountant, grandmother. Those are unpaid jobs that have rolled downhill to me.

Do I do them all well?

Well, I hope so, but it's not true.

The one that get me are not from my business, but from my life.

My mom used to say, "Don't run around like a chicken without a head."

But I do.

I've learned to slow down, breathe, and say no if my energy won't allow one more meeting or thing on my to-do list, and some stuff doesn't get to-done.

I've traded some of my home hats in for a sunhat and a new perspective.

Mom also used to say, "If you want something done, go to a busy person."

My newest venture is my podcast! LIVE Every Tuesday 10 EASTERN streaming everywhere and on Bold Brave TV this year.

Enjoy!
