The Power of a Smile

Never underestimate the power of a smile to lift someone’s day.

I’ve been struggling a bit to clear items from the past.

Me, like my mother, have an attachment to objects. After Marie Kondo’ing the heck out of everything I own asking “Does this bring me joy?” I managed to load my car.

I must admit to being a teary-eyed when I pulled up to the Salvation Army donation drop off.

The gentleman (Melvin) tirelessly unpacked my car in the blazing heat. Not only  was he friendly and kind, but his big smile made my day.

 A simple gesture, a smile, really can change someone’s day.

Next time you are out in the world, share a smile.
