Art imitates life. In my adult fantasy, My characters, Lucretia and Ram must leave their village with the bare minimum of necessities to enter the dark woods.
They leave behind friends to family to find a new village, a new life far away, with no idea what is ahead.
I find myself at this same crossroad.
When you find yourself wondering around in the dark, this is your soul taking a breather, much in the way a seed germinates in the soil. The darkness challenges our optimism and faith when there is not visible answer ahead. Yet this too is a process of spiritual growth.
Once you are realigned in your heart and soul,
You have examined your fears, thoughts, and beliefs, you are learning to set roots into your future.
