I often wonder why people simply disappear.
It's strange, isn't it?
Maybe it's a stream of unopened emails, a class paid for, but never attended.
Perhaps it's an old friend I've called and haven't heard back from in months.
Before I go down the rabbit hole of "I must have done something wrong for them to ignore me this way, " I'll share what I've learned.
People are often so hyper-involved in their own lives, they
forget to call, show up, or even open an email.
Maybe they feel I've ghosted them too.
I won't take it personally, but it sure would be wonderful if I heard from those who have dropped out of sight.
This October, I hope you don't get ghosted. But if you do,
don't take it to heart.
