My mother had sage advice for many things.

These became the mottos I've lived by and hold dear, both for my personal life and my business.

If you give your word, keep it.
Always follow through.
Commit to do your best.
Do more than expected.
Get an A+
Turn the other cheek, but if that doesn't work, speak up with both barrels blazing. (Mom was a firecracker)
If you don't ask, you don't get.
Be educated and make sure you can take care of yourself.
Give back to people less fortunate.
Don't schelp around. Comb your hair, put makeup on, and hold your head high.
Don't let anyone tell you who you are.
Believe in yourself. You can do anything you set your mind to do.
