Energy imprints
Objects, rooms, and locations hold energy and, in some cases, if the energy is very strong and emotional, it can imprint the matrix with the emotion or create time-loop image as if it's an old movie playing out on a screen.
Gettysburg is known for a ghost brigade that appears in a loop, fighting in the same battle again and again. I'm not sure if they are ghosts. My guess is they are the residue or imprint of the battle firmly etched out due to the very strong emotions left behind.
I had an energy imprint in my bedroom when I first moved in. One night I awoke to see a man holding a gun to a woman’s head. It was a transparent image, and I was wide awake when I saw it.
I wasn’t afraid. I thought this was a strange thing to see. Soon after, I found out from the former owner's ex-wife, that her husband held a gun to her head right by the window where I saw the imprint.
I used sage to clear the old imprint from my room. The image never appeared again.
Before you decide you have a ghost, consider my experience.
I'd suggest using white sage to clear the room.
